First things first, allow me to introduce myself. I am a 20-something (how late into our 20’s can we use that term? I plan on doing so until at least my mid-30’s) divorced and single-by-choice mother of one incredible little boy who is far older than his years would suggest. My parenting approach is very much no-nonsense while, to the dismay of many, abandoning the “spare the rod” way of thinking.
Since blogging and baking don’t [yet] pay the bills, I work full-time as a properties administrator for an oil and gas firm. Hey, this is Texas! On that note, while I do have an old Southern soul, you’ll quickly learn that New York holds my heart.
The kitchen is my haven and aside from giving my KitchenAid a total run for its money while whipping up random creations, a hot meal is on the table each night right after we get in from our daily trip to the gym.
In the midst of all of that, I try to make time for a social life and dating.
I am woman, hear me roar!
You can expect nothing less than blunt honesty and my raw opinion of the world around me. Life is way too short for lies, drama or people who bring you down. I hope that you find this to be a source of entertainment, humor, knowledge (even if for what NOT to do), and a place to provoke inspiration and thought.
YAY! Welcome to the world of blogging!!!! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you, ladies! The rest of my week should be a bit more calm, so I'll be able to sit down and put this thing together. I'm so looking forward to writing on a regular basis and getting to know you all, as well as interacting with my readers as they begin to follow. <3
